Alison is diligent, has strong leadership qualities and was thus chosen as a prefect at Holy Trinity Primary and she has good organisational skills.
Her parents are separated. Both parents are seriously ill and unable to work. Alison with her two sisters are financially dependant on their Grandmother who lives off her state pension.
Alison's mother-tongue is Afrikaans, but at school she consistently did well in English too.
