Most of the children in the area have Afrikaans as their home language. On the top shelf we have a few Afrikaans books which include detective stories, teenie books and reference books.

To encourage the children to improve their English, which will be needed in a workplace, we bought more English books which can be seen on the top shelf in this picture. There is a wider range of genre. We also bought colouring-in books and supply the colour pencils. Most parents from the area do not have the resources to buy such things.

On the bottom shelf we have various puzzles which the children can build.
